M2 CRE was founded in 2007 to serve commercial landlords and tenants throughout Manhattan. As Brooklyn’s market began to evolve, we recognized an opportunity to better support an underserved client base and shifted our focus to the borough. Over time, our team established deep roots in Bushwick, becoming the neighborhood’s most active and trusted commercial advisors.

Our Founder

Max Lu brings over 15 years of New York City commercial real estate experience, representing property owners across all asset types — from mixed-use walk-ups to ground-up developments. He consistently outperforms market benchmarks, driven by a combination of data-driven research, innovative use of technology, strategic execution, and strong industry relationships.

Max holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Management from Boston University and is an active member of ICSC, the Urban Land Institute, and AREAA.
